The Endangered Canid Project was established to champion the conservation of threatened canid species across the African continent and beyond. Our efforts encompass research initiatives, educational outreach programs, and hands-on learning opportunities for college and graduate students interested in STEM fields and wildlife conservation.
At our core, we strive to undertake projects that have a tangible impact on preserving endangered canid populations while simultaneously fostering the next generation of conservation leaders. We provide grants and resources to organizations dedicated to increasing awareness, protecting habitats, and advancing scientific research related to these extraordinary animals.
Our focus includes various endangered and threatened canid species around the world. While some of these species are more endangered than others, all face various challenges and require conservation attention.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every individual can contribute to the greater cause of environmental stewardship and species preservation. We envision a world where humans and animals coexist harmoniously, and our efforts aim to safeguard the future of endangered African canids and their natural habitats across the the globe.
If you have a conservation-related project focused on any endangered canid species that needs funding, design, or implementation support, we invite you to contact us. Together, we can make a lasting difference in protecting some of the world’s most unique and threatened canine species.
